Additional Information

The Manchester Project is proud to announce the Inaugural "Mark's Madness," an event to promote local awareness, activism, and education for ALS. The event's mission is to raise funds to help support the ALS Association of LA/MS, ALS-TDI, MDA of LA, Team Gleason and The Manchester Project.

Mark Manchester was diagnosed in July 2011 with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), considered a terminal neuromuscular disease. Lou Gehrig first brought National and International attention to the disease in 1939 when he abruptly retired from baseball after being diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease).

ALS can strike anyone, anytime. Mark continues to challenge the works of technology and science to identify and implement their most promising developments towards new treatments and a cure. Mark has taken on the motto "NO WHITE FLAGS."

Come out to the event Saturday, March 8, 2014 from 3-10 pm. Entertainment will be provided by The Chee-Weez, JJ Callier, Floyd Brown, Big Pokey, Greg Martinez, Johnny Pat and Al Kilvo, and Vinnie Whitehead.

Tickets are on sale and may be purchased here, or at the gate for a $20.00 entry donation. Children 12 and under are free. Food and beverages are to be provided by multiple vendors for sale on site - no ice chests.
