Zydeco Dance Lessons

I'm sure you could find a million individuals to teach Zydeco in South Louisiana, especially if you count my mom and grandma. To get you started, here is a handful of resources for learning to dance the Zydeco:

Zydeco Mike's Dance Lessons - Typically hosted at the Feed N Seed, but I also found this page for Cee Zee's Zydeco Dance Hall. I messaged Mike on Facebook and got this response:

"Hi , thanks for contacting Mike regarding Cajun & Zydeco Dance lessons. For a personal response please call or text me at 225-620-8230
Cost for couples lessons start at $100
Individual (1 person) lessons are $60 per."

I texted his number and he responded the same day! Classes are on Tuesdays at 6:30 pm. Mike also offers private and group lessons.

Glide Studios - Offering lessons every Wednesday at Rock N Bowl. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for students. This covers the lesson at 6pm as well as the Live Zydeco music starting at 7pm.
