We've all seen the multitude of GoFundMe requests from friends asking us to help out a friend or family member in need. Maybe you throw a few bucks their way, maybe you don't. Either way, it's likely a choice you don't have to make too often.

That's all about to change. Facebook is getting in on the action. Now, people can set up campaigns to solicit their friends for donations directly on Facebook. If you get flooded by people asking for money, that's why.

Those wanting to set one up, there will be six different categories: education, medical, pet medical, crisis relief, personal emergencies, and funeral and loss.

Why is Facebook adding this feature? They say it's to set up a safe way to get money in times need. However, guess who's taking a cut? Yep, you guessed it, Facebook!

They'll 6.9% of whatever you collect, which they say goes toward "payment processing fees, fundraiser vetting, security, and fraud protection."

Happy fundraising y'all!
