If you've ever been to Grayton Beach, Florida, on the famous county road 30A, then you've probably visited The Red Bar. Not only is it an iconic local restaurant and bar, but a home for many musicians who got their start at the cozy location on Hotz Ave.

Sadly, early Wednesday morning a fire broke out and the entire building was completely destroyed. Firefighters responded around 6:00 am, and although the beloved night spot was a total loss, no one was injured in the fire. The Red Bar has been a fixture in the 30A community for over 25 years, and employes 80 people, according to WEAR TV. Fortunately firefighters were able to prevent any adjacent structures from catching fire. A sad, sad loss for all of us who loved the Red Bar.
