Fireworks In Downtown Lafayette

What is July the 4th without fireworks? It's just not the same that's why 97.3 The Dawg invites you to celebrate America in Downtown Lafayette this Fourth of July with Freedom Fest and Red, White and Boom. This celebration takes place in the three downtown Lafayette Parks.

In Parc Putnam, the one near the Federal Courthouse, Freedom Fest features live music from Lafayette's Bayou Boys, Chubby Carrier and the Rockin' Rotarians.

In Parc San Souci there will be a kids area and of course the cooling water fountain to play in.

Meanwhile in Parc International the Acadiana Symphony will perform with musical legend Marcia Ball. Admission is just $5. For more information visit the Events page here.
