Former ‘Bachelor’ Contestant Dies in Plane Crash

Erin Storm, who competed for the affection of Matt Grant on "The Bachelor" back in 2008, has died in a plane crash.

The single engine plane she was piloting on Monday went down shortly after take-off from the Hawthorne Airport in California.

A nearby construction crew witnessed the crash and rushed to her aide. They pulled her out of the wreckage. She was taken to a nearby hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.

There were no passengers.

It is still unclear what caused the wreck but police say no one on the ground was injured.

The 41-year-old was was eliminated from "The Bachelor" on the third episode in 2008.
