Frank’s International 3rd Annual Chili Cook-Off Set for November 7th

Frank's International will be hosting their 3rd annual chili cook-off November 7th in benefit of United Way of Acadiana. The cook-off will be held at Cajun Field this year and they are expected to have about 85 teams cooking chili dishes with ingredients both traditional and exotic. Prizes will be given for best chili in each category and for spirit and costumes. Last year, the cook-off raised over $43,000 for United Way of Acadiana.

This year, Frank's will be raffling off prizes including an outfitted kayak from Pack & Paddle and a weekend stay in New Orleans with two tickets to the Saints vs. Falcons game on December 21st. All money will go to support United Way of Acadiana. Attendees are encouraged to "Wear Red" to show their support of ULL and all things Ragin' Cajun.

The cook-off is from 11am to 1pm. Entry is $5 and that allows all entrants to sample each team's chili. Raffle tickets are also $5 and can be purchased in advance at Pack & Paddle and the United Way of Acadiana office.
