Garth Brooks Will Tour in 2014!

Country music superstar, (and the newest member of the Country Music Hall of Fame), Garth Brooks, is planning a world tour in the fall of 2014, his first in 16 years, Las Vegas hotel developer Steve Wynn confirmed Saturday. Brooks, 50, ended a three-year, 180-show run Saturday night with two shows at Wynn Las Vegas. He’ll return to Las Vegas this winter for a “Live From the Wynn” special of the one-man show he’s been doing, And yes, he will keep the private jet that Steve Wynn added as an enticement to come out of retirement. Brooks and Wynn had agreed to a five-year deal, with the stipulation either party could end it sooner.
Brooks’ last world tour was in November 1998. He announced his retirement in 2000, saying he would not return until the last of his three daughters are out of high school. His youngest is scheduled to graduate in May 2014.
Well, this is BIG news! I personally can’t wait to see Garth live again, and hear new music! And how awesome that’s he’s getting to keep the Wynn jet – you go, Garth!
