Giant Record Setting Gator Caught During Opening Weekend Of 2014 Gator Season! [Video]

As our buddy Troy Landry would say "We gotta tree shaker here boy!"

Robert Mahaffey of Brandon, Ms started his gator season off in a BIG way, hauling a record-setting 756-pound gator!

"That's the largest one we've weighed so far that's taken by a hunter," said state alligator coordinator Ricky Flynt of the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks. "We know there are larger individual alligators out there. Wouldn't be surprised to see 14 foot plus, or even a thousand pounds. We know that's capable of happening."

No word yet on the biggest gator caught in Louisiana so far this season, but we'll keep you posted.
