Every year they knock on my door and every year I answer with a smile. I love Girl Scout Cookies because I love what Girl Scouts do for our community and the young ladies that become involved with the program. It won’t be too much longer now, my seven boxes of Samoa’s will be ordered and arrive just in time for me to share them with my family.
The $700 million Girl Scout Cookie Program is the largest girl-led business in the country and generates immeasurable benefits for girls, their councils and communities nationwide. Girls set cookie goals to support their chosen activities for the year, to fund community service and leadership projects, to attend summer camp, to travel to destinations near and far and to provide events for girls in their community.
I support scouting in Acadiana, both Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, these programs build leaders of tomorrow today.
