Goodbye Norma Jean

Marilyn Monroe was on my mind yesterday, on the 50th anniversary of her death from a drug overdose. I can't help but think that if she were born in another time, she could have gotten the help she needed without it being so traumatic for her, and we would still be watching new films from her to this day.

She was a complicated person, with a death that is still being questioned 50 years later, and for those who knew her as Norma Jean Baker, and not Marilyn Monroe..it seems like just yesterday.

Goodbye Norma Jean, we still miss you.
