Lafayette’s Boudin Cook-Off, the annual boudin extravaganza  held each October in downtown Lafayette, has been chosen by Roadfood scholars Jane and Michael Stern in Gourmet Magazine Live as one of America’s best food festivals. In a state that has a plethora of food festivals, that's saying A LOT!

Now, who would ever think that our humble boudin would end up in Gourmet Magazine? Awesome! I remember years ago that Broussard would hold the Boudin Festival the weekend before Mardi Gras, and it was so much fun-wish they would bring that one back!

People come from all over the world to eat our delicious food here in Louisiana, so pop that link of boudin in your mouth and remember how lucky we are!
