Grand Ole Opry Launches New App

The most historic and longest running radio show in history, the Grand Ole Opry, is keeping up with the times. From our friends at Music Row Magazine : The show that made country music famous is celebrating the launch of a new iPad app with the premiere of Opry by the Numbers, an interactive Sudoku-themed game available at opry.com and optimized for the iPad, as well as desktops and other devices.

The new iPad app offers optimized audio streaming of all Grand Ole Opry performances; Opry performance videos; performance calendars; content-rich blogs including country music news, infographics, and artist interviews; and audio streaming of the Opry’s flagship radio station, 650 AM-WSM. This is so cool! The Opry is certainly managing to remain an historic and important part of country music history, and still move forward for the new generation of country music fans!
