Showing your appreciation for our brave, hard working American veterans is as easy as flicking a switch.

Veteran's Day will see tons of photos of men and women who have served, or is currently serving our country, but a campaign called Greenlight A Vet is offering up a way to show even more visible support for our veterans.

So how do you participate?

You can change one, or more lights to green in an effort to "spark national conversation regarding the recognition of veterans." If you don't have an indoor or outdoor light to change, you can still participate by taking photos of the green lights you see and posting them to social media to show your support for veterans.

According to the official Greenlight A Vet website,

green is a color of hope, rewewal and well-being.

"Greenlight" is also a term that is used to set things into motion, so get out there and show your support for our veterans with the Greenlight A Vet campaign.
