It’s no secret that the country music community flocks to Churchill Downs every May for one of the biggest parties in the United States – The Kentucky Derby. This year is no exception, and Greg Bates and Louisiana native Kix Brooks are helping to kick off the festivities with a Derby Eve Jam concert at Waterfront Park in Louisville.

The Kentucky Derby is a HUGE social event, in addition to the 139th Running of the Roses, there are parties all over the place, and there is even a mobile social app!

The Kentucky Derby is held annual the first Saturday in May, and is considered one of the premier sporting events in history!
