A guy on Reddit says he went to Burger King after a really bad day and it got worse after a woman and her obnoxious kid got behind him. She was on her phone and her kid was out of control. He was yelling, hitting her and going on about how he wanted a "[bleeping] apple pie".

So the guy asked the woman if she could quiet her kid down because he had a headache. But the woman yelled at him that it was none of her business how she raised her son. She proceeded to call her son "sweetie" and promised he'd have his apple pie soon.

The guy had other plans.

As he got to the front of the line, he asked the cashier how many apple pies they had in stock. They told him 23. So he proceeded to buy all of them so the kid could not get a single one.

While walking away, he heard the woman yelling at the clerk asking how they could be out of pies.

Consumerist.com is actually doing a poll on what the guy did. 55% of say it was a brilliant lesson for the mom and kid; 4% say the guy was a jerk for doing it; and 40% actually say it wasn't mean enough and that he should have handed out the pies to everyone else in the place!
