Guy Rents Crane for Elaborate Marriage Proposal and Accidentally Destroys Girlfriend’s Apartment Complex

There are some folks who propose marriage to the love of their life by simply getting down on one knee at the opportune time during a romantic setting of some sort.

Then there are those who go big! Like a guy in the Netherlands who wanted to propose to his girlfriend in an over-the-top way.

So he rented a crane, parked it outside his girlfriend's apartment complex, and lifted himself up to her bedroom window.

But as the crane lifted him up, it toppled over and fell straight on to the neighbor's roof.

Fortunately no one was hurt and the guy's girlfriend said yes. And after they talked to the cops, they headed off on a surprise trip to Paris.

But that's not the end of the story. As the crane operators were trying to the get the crane out of the neighbor's roof with an even bigger crane, it fell again!

As a result, the neighbor's roof was pretty much destroyed and six other apartments were then unsafe to be in.

But it was all in the name of love so it was worth it.
