The Magnolia Mansion in New Orleans is literally as old as Mardi Gras in the city. This isn't just another gorgeous New Orleans home though. This house is connected to Marie Laveau, a Turkish sultan murder and much more, and it's on the market!

Encompassing everything from French Quarter cast-iron balconies and colorful courtyards such as the Gardette-LePretre Mansion where a Turkish sultan and his harem were murdered in the 1870s to the Creole cottage owned by Priestess Marie Laveau whose voodoo performances attracted thousands of fans.

The mansion has repeatedly made it on USA Today's "Top 10 Great Places to Sleep with a Ghost". Aside from the Marie Laveau and Turkish sultan connections, a string of  original owners also died under strange circumstances. Two brothers died in the house from yellow fever less than 24 hours apart, and another man was struck dead by lightning on the property.

The house is 13,369 square feet, 15 bedrooms, 17 bathrooms, a ground-floor banquet area and three courtyards.

The price has just been reduced from $5.475 million to $4.9 million.
