'Nashville' star Hayden Panettiere was involved in a two-car accident earlier this month, caused by her alleged failure to stop at a red light and the other driver's improper merge. No one was seriously hurt, but both the BMW and a Geo Prism were towed from the scene.

TMZ obtained the accident report, which reveals that the accident occurred in Nashville, Tenn. on Nov. 14. A witness says the singer and actress -- who plays Juliette Barnes on the ABC drama -- ran a red light while driving in the right lane of a multi-lane road. The other driver made a left turn into her flow of traffic, but instead of turning into the left lane, he or she chose the right lane and collided with Panettiere's vehicle.

It's not clear if either driver was issued a citation. On 'Nashville,' Panettiere's character is also making news for all the wrong reasons, as she was caught stealing nail polish in an early episode. The Wednesday night show seems to be working toward an inevitable tour between her character and Rayna James, who is played by Connie Britton.

'Telescope,' the first song release from the hit show, sits inside the Top 40 on the country music charts. It's also Panettiere's first country single.
