July is here, and with it comes dangerous heat.

KATC reports that a has been issued for all of Acadiana through Wednesday as heat indices will top out in the 105-110F degree range.

Heat indices will hover near 100 degree or above from roughly 10 am through 7 pm both tomorrow and Thursday. 'Heat cramps' or heat exhaustion is likely, as well as heat stroke due to prolonged exposure and/or physical activity.

Rain chances will stay below - normal, meaning no relief from the heat.
