Do you ever talk to your computer? I do. Usually, it's not in the most civil of tones when I speak but I do ask questions of my inanimate electronic friend. For example, when I am purchasing anything from pizza to power tools almost everytime at checkout I am asked, "Do you have a coupon"?

My reply, usually out loud is, "Why no, but I'd love to have a coupon". I usually speak in a very sarcastic tone because computers can be so condescending.

That's where Honey sweetens the deal. Honey is an app on your smartphone and an extension that you can add to Google Chrome. It, Honey, automatically searches for and applies every coupon, discount, money-saving trick available, that would apply to the purchase you are about to make.

Honey does all the work, in fact, it even plugs in the codes in the right places before you hit send to make sure that you're going to get the best deal you can. Honey also has links to other great deals and websites that might have products you'd be interested in. It's like having a coupon clipping leprechaun on your computer.

Is Honey right for you? Obviously, you'll have to make that call. I have found it to be easy to use and very helpful in saving money on any item I have purchased. No matter whether that item was from a local retailer or a multi-national chain.

For me, Honey has been like finding free money and I like free money.
