New Orleans Hornets shooting guard Eric Gordon is supposed to be the "closer." A player with superstar talent and an ability to put the team on his back late in close games. As of late, the story is quite the opposite.

To be fair, Monty Williams and the Hornets have consistently noted that Gordon is not in playing shape due to the constant rehab and rest of his injured knee. The numbers suggest there is credence to this belief, as Gordon has been fantastic in the first half of games, but struggles in the second.
