Can you imagine standing in front of a huge tank filled with sharks and it just exploding right in front of you?

Well, that's pretty much what happened at a shopping center no less, in Shanghai, China. Thirty-three tons of water and three sharks invaded the mall after the glass shattered, injuring 15 people.

The acrylic glass was nearly six inches thick! Most of the injured people were treated for "deep cuts and bruises" according to local police.

The aquarium was installed two years ago at the mall and was a popular attraction. The shopping center has already announced plans to rebuild the aquarium.

The three sharks perished in the incident, by the way.

Here's video of the actual event.
