Three people are living in a human-sized hummingbird nest today. Producers of the "Live Like an Animal" series on Nat Geo Wild have built the nest at Chicago's Lincoln Park Zoo and it includes 1,800 feet of bungee and a steel twig. The three hosts of the series are spending 24 hours in the nest.

According to the show's producer Richard Pearson, "It’s just sort of a test, can you build like an animal, can you live like an animal?"

The men will be allowed to leave the nest to use the restroom, which they are expected to do often due to their hummingbird-like diet of one can of soda every 10 minutes. The  nest live-in is open to the public and will take place in the zoo’s main mall.
