As if there was any doubt, Hunter Hayes is the proud owner of a  new world's record. Yesterday morning Hunter started his quest to perform the most concerts in 24 hours. As of this morning it is official. The new world record belongs to Acadiana's own Hunter Hayes.

The day started for Hunter in New York City with an appearance on Good Morning America, from there it was off to nine other stages and nine other gatherings of screaming fans. From Taste of Country, here is how Hunter's day and night was to play out.

Now we get to break our OWN record;) show #10! Philly, here we come! #HHRecordWeek #guinnessworldrecord #StorylineRecord @GWR

The record attempt wasn't just a publicity stunt either. The quest had a much deeper meaning for Hunter. It was to bring awareness and raise money for End Child Hunger.
