Well, of course, we knew it all along. Atlantic Nashville recording artist Hunter Hayes, the pride of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, is having a really, really great year. Yesterday he got his first CMA nomination for Best New Artist, he's about to have a #1 song for "Wanted", the second single off his debut cd, and he gets to sing the National Anthem at the New Orleans Saints' season opener this Sunday...on his 21st birthday. He also has almost 300,000 Facebook fans, and has already got a platinum record....given to him live on CBS's "The Chew". And he hasn't forgotten where he came from - doing a benefit concert for Oschner Pediatrics Friday night at the Mahalia Jackson Theater in New Orleans. Wow.

We just want Hunter to know how proud his home town and all the folks in Acadiana are of him....he is representing us well, and we couldn't be more happy for him! Check out the nice article about Hunter in today's issue of the Washington Post.

Tickets for Hunter's show at the Mahalia Jackson Theater In New Orleans are $40 and are still available here. Don't miss out seeing Hunter before he heads out on tour with Carrie Underwood this fall!
