Hunter Hayes will attempt to break the Guinness Book of World Records record for the most concerts played in multiple cities in a 24-hour period. The current record holder is the rock band The Flaming Lips who played eight shows in one day.

Hayes is helping out a great cause in the process. The world record attempt will be part of the 24 Hour Road Race to End Child Hunger. The tour is designed to bring awareness to ConAgra Food's Child Hunger Ends Here campaign to benefit Feeding America.

The feat will go down May 9-10 and will take him to New York, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
