Hunter Hayes Still In Running For ACM New Artist of the Year

Good news for Acadiana's own Hunter Hayes, he made the cut and is one of three finalists for the Academy of Country Music's New Artist of the Year.

Hunter made the cut along with Scotty McCreery and Brantley Gilbert. All three of these artists have had a great start to their career so it is going to be anyone's trophy to win.

This award along with Entertainer of the Year will be totally fan voted. The polls will open again March 19th at 11am at the ACM's official website.

The 47th ACM Awards will air Sunday, April 1st on CBS.
