Hurricane Season: What The New Forecast Means To You

It's that time of year again, we've had our Memorial Day fun and now we look down the barrel of Mother Natures biggest cannon, the hurricane. The official beginning of the tropical season is June 1, however Mother Nature very seldom checks the calendar to see if it's okay to start. The forecast group out of Colorado State University is one of the most respected in the country, here is what they say for this years tropical outlook.

 As you know weather is not an exact science but forecasters get better every year in giving you and I the best chance to secure property and save our own skin. I personally hope all the forecast storms stay out to sea and there are no pictures of stupid reporters braving the storm for the action shot.

 This would be a good time to double check your hurricane kit, make sure it is up to date and the say a little prayer every night that we won't have to use it.
