Iberia Robbery Linked To Social Media

Facebook may be a great way to connect with friends but it can also connect you with people who aren't that friendly. Sheriff's Deputies in Iberia Parish are currently looking for two armed robbers who allegedly used the social media site to lure their victim into an armed robbery.

According to a story reported by the Louisiana Radio Network, the 28 year old victim had been communicating with the alleged robbers via Facebook. The woman then agreed to a face-to-face meeting with who she thought was a Facebook friend. It was at that meeting the 28 year old was confronted by two armed men who took her money

Authorities are still investigating the case but need your help in finding the bad guys. Law enforcement officials say they are looking for two black males, both of medium height and build. They were wearing jeans and hoodies at the time of the crime.
