In Case You Didn’t Get the Memo, After 30, There are a Few Things You Need to Toss Out
If you are like me, you often make the statement that you 'don't adult very well.' I was never really ready to be an adult and I am sure not ready to hit 30.
Heads up for those who are about to hit that mile stone. There is a list of items in your home that apparently must go after 30. They include:
- Unframed posters
- Trophies from High School
- Collection of shot glasses
- Lava lamp
- Bean bag chair
- Pictures with sayings (only 2 are necessary)
- Glow in the dark ceiling stars
- Fake plants
Alright, here are my thoughts on this list. I already have the unframed pictures and high school trophies checked off. I will say that I am a little heart broken about my shot glasses (they are just so cool). I also have a thing for pictures with sayings, however, mine are inspirational. I also cannot keep a real plant alive for anything.
I will have a hard time parting with some of my things. I know many of you will feel the same way. The important question here is: can I keep my over sized stuffed dog on my bed? (Don't judge me!)
