Traffic Alert – West Farrel At Kaliste Saloom To Be Closed On Tuesday

Water and sewer work will be the reason the 100 block of W. Farrel Road at Kaliste Saloom Road will be closed from 9:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, January 26.

The 9:00 a.m. start time should allow morning rush hour traffic time to cycle through the intersection without delay. West Farrel road is the road that runs behind the Albertson's shopping center. Many motorist use the roadway as a short cut to or from Settler's Trace.  The intersection is heavily traveled because of school traffic to and from St. Thomas More High School.

Tom Carroll, Director of the Public Works Department, says Don M. Barron Contractor Inc. will be doing Water & Sewer Relocations for the Traffic Control Plan, weather permitting.

There will be detour routes made available.
