Yes kids there is a Santa Claus. Don't listen to any real-life Grinch who thinks otherwise.

A 24-year-old Kingston, Canada man was arrested last week for trying to rain on a Christmas parade by telling kids that Santa Claus doesn't exist.

The unidentified man, who was intoxicated at the time, was arrested for public intoxication and disturbing the peace.

"It was pretty despicable that someone, during this time of the year, would tell kids Santa isn't real -- which of course we would argue," said Constable Steve Koopman.

No word yet on how the suspect pleaded, however, it is certain Santa sentenced him to the naughty list.
