Happy National Coffee Day! This may just be my favorite day...ever.

If you are a normal worker (and by that I mean you work a normal 8am to 5pm day), your day will probably begin with a cup of coffee. You may have one, maybe two, more as the morning rolls on and that's about it.

For those of you who work the graveyard shift like me, your coffee routine might be a little different. Perfect example: Michael(dot)Scott, once upon a time, worked the graveyard shift. He told me that he wouldn't start drinking coffee until about 3am. If he had class the next morning, he would have his last cup around 5am.

Personally, its all coffee all the time. I get to the station around 11pm and I immediately make a fresh pot of joe. I get my stuff ready for my show and then fix that delicious first cup.

Here is the kicker. When is a good time for me to stop drinking coffee? I usually have my last cup around 4am. This is because I know that I need to get some sleep. By the time Bruce and Jude take over at 5am, I am getting pretty sleepy. This would be the point where they stick me on the floor with a blanket and tell me to go to sleep (or just shut up).

The funny thing is, some people can drink coffee and go right to sleep. I know that I have to have a cup of coffee in the morning to not only keep me up but to make me a pleasant human being (and because certain drugs are illegal).

Here's my question for you. Do you have a certain time to stop drinking coffee during your day/work shift? Is there a reason why?
