It’s the End of the World as We Know It

OK, I keep hearing about 'The End of the World' coming up, but honestly, I haven't been paying that much attention. I mean, I was around for Y2K, when we were all supposed to explode into oblivion, and I survived THAT! Anxiety for some is coming into play as people interpret the infamous "Mayan calendar" to mean that the world will end on Dec. 21. According to a Reuters survey of 16,000 people in 21 countries, at least 10 percent of the population is genuinely concerned that we'll all be annihilated on that date. Um, OK. Good luck with that one.....
