iTunes Is A Mixed Blessing For Musicians

When Apple rolled out iTunes for the masses in the spring of 2003, the music industry was at a point of transition. Not everyone was convinced that the ever popular cd's were going by the wayside, and they didn't allow their music to be sold on iTunes. Some artists were holdouts for a very very long time...Garth Brooks, Kid Rock, KISS, and most famously-the Beatles. But now you almost HAVE to have your music on iTunes to be in the game. And it's not all that easy to get on iTunes....just ask some of our wildly popular local musicians. I still like cd's....just sayin'
