On the 50th anniversary of the assassination of our 35th President, John F Kennedy, there has been wall to wall news coverage of those horrible events 50 years ago. One of the most iconic images from November 22, 1963 is Jacqueline Kennedy with the President blood on her pink suit after he was murdered. She was offered a change of clothes, but reportedly said 'No - let them see what they have done'.

The pink suit, with the pink pillbox hat was made by the New York Couture house Chez Ninon in 196. It is probably one of the most famous pieces of clothing in history, and it was not the first time she had worn the exquisite outfit.

According to CNN, the pink suit is currently held at in the National Archives building in College Park, Maryland. The suit, which has never been cleaned and has never been seen since the day of the assassination, will not be put on display for the public until 2103,
