Keeping up with fashion trends is not something I pride myself on, most people  that know me would totally agree with that statement. Still we all have our moments in life when we were the trendsetter, we set the curve, we were the cutting edge of what was popular. For me that cutting edge had a bright floral print, fit snugly around the girth of my teenage gut and probably looked really stupid.

I don’t know about you, but my memories of Jams are two-fold. First, they were expensive. Way too much for shorts, my mom would say. So, in that awesome, motherly way that I’m afraid is fast becoming a thing of the past, she made me some. Went out and bought super-cool cotton fabric and made me a whole bunch of knock-off Jams! How cool is that.

Over the holiday weekend for some reason I decided to show my teenage kids what I looked like when I was their age. I would have included a wicked cool picture of me wearing my jams shorts in this post but I would like to leave this Earth with at least a little dignity. If you were a child of the 80's and want to take a few stolen moments back in time, give a click and let's go.
