The year 2017 was a rocky one for singer and actress Jana Kramer and her husband Michael Caussin, but on Dec. 2, the couple renewed their wedding vows, after publicly acknowledging in September that they were actively working to restore their relationship.

Kramer and Caussin were married in 2015, and the couple welcomed their first child, daughter Jolie Rae Caussin, in January of 2016. However, the couple separated that August, and news of Caussin's infidelity broke that fall; they used their time apart to regroup and came back together a few months later, determined to make it work.

"2017 ... you broke my heart, you broke me down, you made me question everything, but damn did you make me strong. You taught me patience, you taught me family was everything. You made me believe not only in myself but the power of forgiveness. You turned me into the women I always wanted to be," Kramer writes on Instagram. "I have NO clue what 2018 has in store for me but I’ve never been more ready to live day by day and enjoy each day as it comes at me. Here’s to always believing in love and fighting for it ..."

Throughout 2017, Kramer opened up about multiple sexual harassment experiences that she's faced, joining ranks with many other celebrities who have been speaking out about the traumas they've endured. In December, she revealed that she suffered a miscarriage, also sharing that it wasn't the first pregnancy she's lost.

Prior to marrying Caussin, Kramer was engaged to Brantley Gilbert, married to actor Johnathon Schaech and married to a man named Michael Gambino, whom Kramer has revealed was abusive and tried to kill her. Kramer released a poignant new single, "I've Done Love," in August.
