The Miles Perret Cancer Services benefit concert starring Darius Rucker on October 23rd just got even more exciting. Acadiana's own Jaryd Lane has been added to the bill as the opening act.

The Vermilion Parish native is no stranger to helping out great causes like Miles Perret. In fact, this will be the third time that Lane has performed for the "every other year" benefit concert. In 2009, he opened up for Clint Black and two years ago we saw him tear it up while warming up the crowd before Randy Travis hit the stage.

So, if you didn't have enough reason before to buy your ticket, then here's yet another one. Remember, tickets are $90 and includes the concert along with all the cajun cuisine you care to eat and all the wine and beer you so choose to partake in.

Check out a video of Jaryd Lane at his show this past weekend at The District in Lafayette.
