For somebody who is not running for national political office, the man who occasionally sleeps at the Governor's Mansion in Baton Rouge is sure giving the appearance of being a candidate.  Bobby Jindal is again running our state via remote control as he travels to Washington D.C. to make a speech at the American Enterprise Institute.

Jindal is then slated to travel to The Citadel in South Carolina Tuesday where he is expected to make a similar speech. Many in Louisiana have criticized the Governor for paying too much attention to national issues and not taking care of business at home. In fact, a recent poll showed that more Louisiana residents would support Former Governor Edwin Edwards returning to the Governor's office than they would keeping Jindal there.

According to Jindal's press releases, he is on the road making these speeches to get a better feel for the mood of the nation. While he is not an announced candidate for President, many believe he is posturing for a run at the nation's highest office. According to sources, there will not be any official announcement until after the November 4th elections have been concluded.
