Oak Ridge Boy Joe Bonsall's mother, Lillie, passed away in 2001, and recently he received an unexpected gift — photos of his mother from World War II from a dear friend of hers who tracked down Bonsall after reading his book. 88 year old Vivian Abalon tracked Bonsall down through his book publisher, and Bonsall called her. It really is an incredible story, filled with twists and turns. Bonsall is convinced that it was God who was working to bring them together.

Bonsall’s book is available at Cracker Barrel Old Country Stores and through www.amazon.com.
