Actor John Stamos has entered rehab. The 51-year-old "Full House" star has checked himself into a residential program for treatment of substance abuse.

The news comes less than a month after he was arrested for a DUI in Beverly Hills and taken to the hospital by police.

The next day he took to Twitter and thanked his fans for their support.

Stamos does have a full schedule ahead of him. In addition to Fuller House, the Full House reunion show, he is also starring in a new comedy for Fox called Grandfathered, which debuts on September 29.

He was also supposed to co-host the live announcement of the Emmy nominations on the morning of September 16, but reports are that "scheduling conflicts" would keep him from it.

Stamos is set to appear in court on September 11 for his DUI arrest.

Best of luck "Uncle Jesse"!
