Josh Gracin Gets Engaged

Former American Idol finalist and country music singer Josh Gracin is engaged to a woman named Katie Weir. She posted the good news on her Facebook page this past Saturday.

Josh also posted the following picture on his Facebook page.

This is good news for Josh as he has spent the last couple of years making headlines for all the wrong reasons.

A little over a year ago, he posted what appeared to be a suicide note on Facebook. He subsequently spent some time in a psychiatric facility.

He would later apologize and assure his family and friends he was on the road to recovery.

His wife of 17 years, Ann Marie, however, would file for divorce. The couple have four kids together.

To add insult to his already seemingly dire situation, Ann Marie would be awarded a 50% stake in the 24 songs he recorded during their marriage.

Here's to hoping this is a new happy chapter in this young man's life.
