“Junk in Your Trunk” Faith House Fundraiser

Attention residents of Acadiana! Hopefully you haven't forgotten about the "Junk in Your Trunk" Faith House Fundraiser event on June 23 at Cajun Field.  This will make your garage sales a whole lot easier. Sellers will load up their trucks, trailers, or backs of their cars with all of the "junk" they would like to sell. Arrive between 6 a.m. and 7 a.m., rent a parking spot for $20 (2 for $35), unload and SELL.  Shoppers will check out the various "junk trunks" and shop for free from 7 a.m. till 1 p.m. Call (337)267-9422 for more information. Faith House would also like to recognize and honor a woman in the Acadiana area who has positively enhanced the lives of other women and children in our community.  Lafayette's Woman of the Year will be honored at Faith House's "Annual Breakfast" on July 25 at River Oaks. If you know someone who has been an incredible role model and has exemplified strength, compassion and has made a difference in the lives of women and children in our community, please contact Faith House to fill out an application explaining why your nomination should be crowned Lafayette's Woman of the Year.
