Kellie Pickler was in California for the 45th annual Daytime Emmy Awards at Pasadena Civic Auditorium on Sunday (April 29), and she shined on the red carpet.

The country singer and her Pickler & Ben co-host Ben Aaron were nominated at the awards show for Outstanding Informative Talk Show Hosts, and they had stiff competition. The category also included: Larry King, Dr. Oz, Kit Hoover and Natalie Morales, as well as the winner, Steve Harvey.

Pickler & Ben was recognized in two additional categories: set hairstylist Debbie Dover Hall was nominated for Outstanding Hairstyling, and show Director Joe Terry and Associate Director Wesley MacMillan were nominated for Outstanding Directing in a Talk Show/Entertainment News/Morning Program.

While they didn't walk away from the 2018 Daytime Emmy Awards with an official win, Pickler surely won best dressed of the night. In her flowing, stunning, floor-length yellow gown, Pickler could easily be mistaken for Disney princess Belle from Beauty and the Beast. She wore her hair up in a modest bun and minimal jewelry, as to not take away from her stunning gown.

Pickler & Ben was recently renewed for a second season. It's shot in Nashville in front of a live studio audience and often includes guest appearances from various celebrities, as well as special segments highlighting community do-gooders and members of the military and their families. Faith Hill is one of the show's producers.
