Two of country music's newest stars are set to appear on upcoming episodes of Nashville, as is a well-known pop star.

Kelsea Ballerini and Thomas Rhett, as well as Kesha, will all make appearances as themselves during future episodes of the ABC drama. According to the Hollywood Reporter, each of the three stars will make one-episode cameos, but not during the same episodes.

This news is especially major for Kesha, who has recently been embroiled in a legal battle with producer Dr. Luke, whom the singer says abused her mentally, physically and sexually. She has earned support from a host of fellow artists, including Kelly Clarkson: In a recent interview, the country-slash-pop singer admitted that she is not a fan of the producer, with whom Clarkson has also worked.

“A lot of artists that have worked with him don’t work with him anymore for pretty good, solid reasons,” Clarkson says. “He’s not a good person to me. We’ve clashed. I can’t really say anything other than that.”

Nashville Season 4 returns to ABC's lineup, following its mid-season break, on Wednesday (March 16). In January, the network's president, Paul Lee, confirmed that there are no plans to end the series anytime soon.

“If you consider the unique ingredients of our show, we will find new fans. More and more people will discover the show, be told about the show in years to come,” Nashville executive producer Steve Buchanan says. “There’s a long life cycle for a television property like Nashville.”
