No big surprise that our country music artists are coming forward to help the victims of the Boston Marathon bombings. As Kenny Chesney is launching his new cd today 'Life on a Rock', he has created a fund to help the victims called Spread the Love Fund. Chesney established the fund to work with Boston Medical Center to pay for victims’ prosthetics, their fittings and their ongoing care and physical therapy.

We love our caring country artists, and thank you Kenny for stepping up and showing the world how to help when you can.

From our friends at the Nashville Tennessean :

Chesney made an undisclosed, sizable donation of seed money to start the fund, and he’s also donating all proceeds from the single downloads of the song “Spread the Love,” which he wrote with the Wailers, to the Spread the Love Fund.

In addition to downloading the song, donations can be made to the fund by visiting www.bmc.org/kenny
