New Orleans Saints running back Khiry Robinson was back on the practice field Wednesday, returning from forearm surgery. He was officially listed as limited on the practice report.

Robinson has not played since a week 7 loss to the Detroit Lions. While practice may not be fun for Robinson, not being able to practice is far worse.

Running backs Travaris Cadet (hamstring) and Mark Ingram (ankle/toe) were also limited, as was linebacker Kyle Knox (hand).

Despite the limited practices for the three running backs, the Saints appear relatively healthy at the position for the first time since early in the season. With RB Pierre Thomas practicing fully, New Orleans will likely have 4 running backs at their disposal this Sunday against the Panthers.

"With regards to the first game a player's back (Robinson), you have to look closely at how many snaps. But I don't envision it really changing what Mark's been able to do, and I think that there will be enough carries in the game and we'll be smart about it."

Ingram has rushed for 100+ yards four times this season, with each performance taking place while Robinson was sidelined with the injury.

Before his injury, Robinson had rushed for 176 yards and 2 touchdowns.
