Festival time in Louisiana - nothin' like it! The St Martinville Kiwanis Club will hold their 23nd annual Pepper Festival September 19 and 20! This fun festival is held along the banks of beautiful Bayou Teche, at E. Madison Street and N. New Market, with 100% of the proceeds benefiting community children's and youth projects/programs, which include the Foster's Children's Christmas Party, Bike Safety, Every Child a Swimmer, Youth Soccer Tournament Sponsors, Builder's Club and Key Club program. All projects are funded by the proceeds of the Annual Pepper Festival.

Friday, September 19
4 pm: Festival Grounds open with carnival rides, food and craft booths
5 pm: Matt Castille
5:30 pm: Opening ceremonies
6-7:30 pm: L’il Nate & the Zydeco Big Timers

Saturday, September 20
7 am: Registration for Pepper Festival 5K / 1 Mile Fun Run and
Pepper Sauce Backyard Barbecue Cookoff
8 am: 5K / 1 Mile Fun Run and Cookoff begin
10am: Festival Grounds open with carnival rides, food and craft booths, and Matt Castille
12:30 pm: Pepper Sauce Backyard Barbecue Cookoff judging begins
4:45 pm: Untouchable Twirler Academy performance
5-6:30 pm: Nathan Williams & the Zydeco Cha-Chas
6:30 pm: St. Martin Academy of Fine Arts performance
6:45 pm: Cajun line dancers

Carnival Tickets for the 23rd Annual St. Martinville Kiwanis Club Annual Pepper Festival are now on sale - pre-sale tickets are only $1.00 each. With pre-sale tickets each ride will be 1-2 tickets. Tickets purchased at the fairgrounds during the festival will be 2-4 tickets per ride. Get your tickets early at Teche Bank and Trust at 606 South Main, St. Martiville.
